Ori appeasement, Ori Bibo or Ibori is an essential part of the Ifa tradition. Your Ori, is your physical head, but also your spiritual head, your inner spirit, your higher consciousness, the creator of your destiny, your god self. It is essential to appease your Ori for spiritual growth and to be in alignment with your destiny. Initiates are taught how to perform Ibori at home, but both initiates and non-initiates benefit from getting their Ori appeased on their behalf, if they are inexperienced or wish to benefit from the ase and knowledge of the babalawo.
